Single rooms for conference participants cost 57€ per person and double rooms 80€ (40 per person). Breakfast is included in this price. To make a reservation, please contact the Organising Committee as soon as you have arranged all your trip details (arrival date, departure date, etc). We advise you to arrange your hotel reservation before 30 of April 2010.
There will be a shuttle at the airport of Alexandroupolis for those who arrive at Alexandroupolis on the 26th of May at 19.00.
To come to Komotini, you have the following options:
- Fly to the airport of Alexandroupolis (AXD) which is at 50 km from Komotini. Shuttles of the Conference will be available to get you to Komotini. Otherwise you can use public transportation. Taxi fares from Alexandroupolis airport to Komotini is +/- 60 Euros.
- Fly to the airport of Kavala (KVA) which is at 60 km from Komotini. Shuttles of the Conference will be available to get you to Komotini. Otherwise you can use public transportation. Taxi fares from Kavala airport to Komotini is +/- 70 Euros.
- Fly to the airport of Thessaloniki (SKG) which is at 265km from Komotini and then take the train to Komotini. The train fare from Thessaloniki to Komotini is 17,40 Euros (with Express trains) and 10,40 (with normal trains). Express trains are recommended. Another possibility is to catch the Bus form Thessaloniki to Komotini (22,80 Euros). The Airport is located 13 km east of the city of Thessaloniki. You can use route bus No78 (78N, night service) which operates a regular service between Thessaloniki International Airport and the New Railway Station in the city of Thessaloniki. Otherwise you will need to spend an extra amount (approximately 20 euros) for a taxi to get you from the airport to the railway or bus station. Cash point machines (ATMs) are located in departures lounge.
